It won’t be wrong to say that dosa is no longer just a staple breakfast in South Indian households. These golden crepes made from a fermented batter of rice and urad dal are all things yummy. Recently, a street stall vendor made waves on the Internet with his “Rajinikanth-Style Dosas.” The viral video shared on Instagram is from a street-side food stall in Dadar, Mumbai. Unique factor: the process of preparing it. The vendor starts by pouring the batter onto a hot skillet to make four dosas simultaneously. With incredible speed, he flips each dosa over, ensuring it is cooked evenly. Once perfectly crisp, he folds them and swiftly transfers them onto plates. He then hands (flies) them over to his helper, who quickly fills the trays with an array of chutneys.

What’s mesmerising about this stall is the vendor’s skill and speed. The note attached to the video read, “Mumbai’s Famous Rajnikant Style Dosa Wala at Dadar | Muthu Dosa Corner | Mumbai Street Food.”

Needless to say, desis have flooded the comments section with hearts and fire emojis.

A user commented that the vendor was “moving fast for no damn reason.”

Another user said, “That catcher should be in the Indian cricket team.”

“They used to play on the same Cricket team,” a third comment read.

“The guy who catches is the superstar,” someone said.

A user commented on his aggressive technique, saying, “Bro cooks like the food owes him money.”

Another stated, “Each time he tosses a small piece gets thrown off the plate, I’d rather it gets served clean and intact without wastage.”
