Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024 Exit Poll LIVE Updates: Maharashtra is a highly crucial battleground in the Lok Sabha elections, which went for polls in the first five phases across 48 constituencies in the seven-phased polls in the country that concluded on June 1. Key candidates in the state include Piyush Goyal (BJP, Mumbai-North), Nitin Gadkari (BJP, Nagpur), Supriya Sule (NCP (Sharad Pawar), Baramati), Arvind Sawant (Shiv Sena (UBT), Mumbai-South), Varsha Gaikwad (Congress, Mumbai North Central), Ujjwal Nikam (BJP, Mumbai North Central), Kapil Patil (BJP, Bhiwandi), Rajan Baburao Vichare (Shiv Sena (UBT), Thane), Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena, Kalyan), Danve Raosaheb Dadarao (BJP, Jalna), Pankaja Munde (BJP, Beed). Other key candidates include Navneet Kaur Rana (BJP, Amravati), Anup Dhotre (BJP, Akola). Shiv Sena, the BJP ally, had fought on 20 seats inthe 2019 Lok Sabha elections and won 18. NCP fought on 21 seats and won 4 while Congress contested on 26 seats and won 2.
